I spent a little bit of time today sitting out on our front lawn photographing the flags as the clouds rolled in and thinking back.
I’m glad that with so many villains in this world, we also have heroes who stand up for us in hard times.
I watched the smoky clouds roll in around sunset and thought of firefighters working right now to put out forest fires in the area. There really are heroes everywhere, working every day. Today and ten years ago.
